JavaScript Mastery is here: go from beginner to building real apps in 12 weeks
Our new free 12-week JavaScript programme takes you from your very first line of code to building and publishing real web apps - with a video, full notes and a code pack in every lesson.
JavaScript is the language of the web. Every time you tap a button on WhatsApp Web, filter products in an online shop or watch a live score update, JavaScript is doing the work. It is also one of the most in-demand skills in tech - and today we are launching a free programme to help you learn it properly.
What is JavaScript Mastery?
JavaScript Mastery: From Complete Beginner to Master Class is a structured 12-week programme on our learning platform. It is designed for complete beginners, SIWES / IT trainees and anyone who already knows a little HTML and CSS and wants to make websites do things.
Every single lesson has three parts:
1A video from an experienced developer that explains the idea.
2
Learn · Question · Build

Full reading notes written for beginners, with plenty of examples using things you know - naira prices, shop receipts, school results.
3A downloadable code pack with working examples, a practice exercise and a model answer, so you can check your work.
At the end of every week there is a short quiz, and at the end of the course a final exam. Pass it and you get a certificate that anyone can verify online.
What you will learn, week by week
Weeks 1-3:setting up your tools, variables, numbers and text, making decisions with if, loops, and finding bugs with Chrome DevTools.
Weeks 4-6:functions, arrays, objects and JSON - the building blocks of every program.
Weeks 7-8:making web pages interactive: clicks, forms, saving data in the browser, and building a complete to-do list app.
Weeks 9-10:loading live data from the internet with fetch and async/await, organising bigger projects with modules and classes, and your first steps with Node.js.
Week 11:the master class - closures, the event loop, prototypes and this. These are the topics interviewers love to ask about.
Week 12:your capstone. You build a weather app that uses a real weather service, put it on GitHub and publish it online for free.
The goal is not to memorise syntax. It is to be able to build something useful on your own - and explain how it works.
A taste of the first lesson
This is the video that opens week 1. It explains in five minutes what JavaScript is and why it matters:
Who is it for?
Students who want a head start in tech while still in school.
Polytechnic and university students preparing for SIWES / IT.
Graduates who want a practical, portfolio-ready skill.
Small-business owners who want to understand how their website works.
You do not need any programming experience. You only need a computer with a browser - week 1 shows you how to install the free tools. You can start the first weeks on a phone, but a laptop is needed from week 7.
3Download the 12-week study plan from the first lesson and pick your study days.
Plan for about four to five hours a week. Short, regular practice beats one long session at the weekend. And if you get stuck, bring your question to the AI Community Hub - someone has probably met the same error before.
On Saturday 7 November, KadQuantumHub hosts the first AI in Our Daily Lives gathering - four hours of honest conversation, live demos and a Local AI Problem Lab. Free, 60 seats, no coding needed.
Where you do your SIWES decides whether you come back with real skills or a logbook full of errands. Here are honest answers to the questions students ask most - and why KadQuantumHub is built to make your industrial training count.
