Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to and use of the Kaduna Quantum Innovations Hub school management portal and our official communications (including WhatsApp messages and content published to our Facebook and Instagram pages). By using the portal or receiving our communications you agree to these Terms.

Accounts and access

• Accounts are issued by the school to parents, guardians, students and staff.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
• Access is granted for the purpose of managing a child’s education or performing a staff role, and may be suspended or withdrawn by the school.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• access data you are not authorised to see, or attempt to bypass access controls;
• upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, or content about a child without the right to share it;
• use the portal or our communications to harass, defame or mislead;
• disrupt, probe, or overload the service, or use it for any purpose other than the intended school use.

Communications

The school sends operational messages (such as term notices, fee reminders and class updates) by in-app notification, email and WhatsApp using approved templates. Optional marketing messages are only sent to families who have enquired or opted in. You can opt out of optional messages at any time by replying “STOP” or contacting info@kadquantumhub.ng.

Content and intellectual property

Content in the portal and on the school’s official pages belongs to the school or its licensors. Information you submit remains yours, but you grant the school permission to use it to provide education services and to run the portal.

Third-party services

We use Meta Platforms to deliver WhatsApp messages and to publish posts to pages the school owns. Your use of WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram is also subject to Meta’s own terms.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the portal available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, suspend or discontinue features, and may change these Terms; the “last updated” date shows the latest version.

Disclaimer and liability

The portal is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, the school is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the portal. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the school operates.
